This morning, what was an unforgettable one month experience at the Vang Vieng Organic Farm, came to an end. Hugs, good byes, presents, and messages of good luck were exchanged. My heart was heavy.

During this one month, not only have learned tremendously but have also made incredible friends. I will miss their company, their smiles, their laughs. Indeed, I will miss just about everything about my stay at the farm. But with the end of a wonderful experience comes the beginning of something as wonderful, that of exploring the South of Laos and Cambodia with my lover.

Rene set foot in Laos two days ago, joining me at the farm. Everybody there was eager to meet Vee's man (!), the big guy from cold Canada who would take care of me when they are not there to do so. They, off course, absolutely adored him (like I had any doubts!). From Vang Vieng, we have now made our way to Vientiane and will be heading to Tha Khaek tomorrow.

This is the start of another step in my South East Asia travels, and it will, without a doubt, be as unforgettable as my stay at the Organic Farm.

  2. Saluuuuuuuut!!

  3. Hey Veronik,

You don't know me but I'm a good friend of Rene's, we went to school together at MUN. He told me you were over in Asia and he was flying over to meet up with you so he passed me your blog.

I'm actually in Thailand right now but planning on heading to Cambodia next week over to Siem Reap for a couple days to check out Angor Wat (APR 11-13). Rene and I were trying to meet up for a beer in Bangkok but I got stuck at work and haven't been able to reach him. If y'all are going to be around Siem Reap next week I'd love to meet up with y'all and grab a pint!

Tell Rene to answer his email lol. Hope the trip is going well!

    Chris J.
